1981, a thin cup of coffee is filled from the community dispenser by a near five year old who could cajole the nearby adult into reaching a styofoam cup for him. A taste leading to a life-long pursuit was found. Coffee.
Fast forward past numerous experiments from the open pan in the smoke-filled kitchen to use of a propane grill and rotisserie to a real, consistently reliable solution that not only delivers the best flavor yet can be fully powered through electricity conveniently powered by our own panels.

We are not interested in providing motor oil or char. This is not a mass-batched economy coffee built on rape and pillage of farmers annihilating the forests to survive for less than livable wages and develop cancers from pesticides only to ship the mold-growing harvest to a mass distributer and then into a twelve month rancidification on store shelves.
When you prepare a shot, cup or other beverage from our roasts, based on ethically farmed beans sourced as freshly as possible and batch tested for molds, you might be reminded of the first time you tried organic milk or organic broccoli. It was GOOD. It had flavor, sweetness and naturally occurring tastes that are undeniably better than odd chemical residues in “conventional” products.
